Flexible remote work

We aim to offer flexible options that allow all employees to work in an environment where they can access support and thrive.

Remote work

Our remote work program offers the flexibility to work from home or the office. All full-time remote and hybrid employees receive an annual stipend they can use to set up their home office.

Friday hours

Our Friday Hours program provides employees with the flexibility to work their core hours in advance of the last day of the week, and take Friday afternoon to pursue other personal or professional interests.

Emergent GIVES, our Corporate Social Responsibility program, is an important part of our culture, and one of the ways we live our purpose to build a healthier and safer world. Each of our giving and volunteering efforts align with our community focus areas:

Advance Public Health

We strive to improve the health and well-being of communities through areas that align with our industry and operational expertise.

Educate Tomorrow’s Scientific Leaders

We support STEM programs that cultivate promising young scientists and broaden participation of groups underrepresented in scientific fields to advance STEM literacy and inspire tomorrow’s STEM-capable workforce.

Protect Those Who Protect Us

We partner with organizations committed to assisting military veterans and their families, as well as healthcare workers and first responders, to ensure that they are well-supported professionally, medically, and emotionally.

Community giving programs

We offer paid time off for employees to pursue service projects at organizations of their choice. Emergent employees have volunteered nearly 45,000 hours in their own communities.

We regularly give back to charitable organizations in the communities where our employees work and live. Each quarter, our employee-led corporate social responsibility groups review donation requests to determine which projects and initiatives are best aligned with our community focus areas.

In addition to our charitable giving efforts, we match employee donations to hundreds of eligible nonprofits up to $200 each year. In addition to this, our team organizes special fundraising campaigns that often have special matching opportunities outside of our annual employee match-cap.
