The Capital Area Humane Society is a favorite among Emergent’s Lansing employees. Volunteer days spent here are often used as team building activities. Time spent at CAHS can involve a myriad of chores, from cleaning animal kennels, to grooming animals, to taking the shelter dogs for a walk.
“Volunteering with my team at CAHS was a great team building event. Under the direction of their experienced volunteers, we were able to complete tasks for the shelter that were needed, but a lower priority for them; something as simple as organizing their tools and miscellaneous parts makes their jobs easier.
