Countermeasures Season 3 Episode 6: Impact of Climate Change on Health

What really gives me hope is how many people are now paying attention. Young people are really interested in climate change in general. They understand the risks. They really want to make a difference, and that increased awareness, that increased engagement, means that there is momentum to move forward and ensure we do increase resilience to a change in climate. — Kristie L. What to listen for:

The effects of climate change touch communities around the world. In this episode, we look at how climate change is shaping public health today, and how it will continue to test our health systems in the years ahead, and what we can do to be prepared.

In the final episode of season 3, we hear how climate change has the potential to, and currently is, intensifying many of the health threats we have explored throughout this season.
